During the past 18 years that I have been a Councillor I have been extremely activing within the ward getting to know my residents, delivering newsletters and christmas cards to name some of the many activites I am involved in. I have been a member of the labour party for about 40 yrs. I hold a surgery in Carlton on the third week of each month.

Steve Green –

I have been a Councillor for Monk Bretton since 2012, having lived there for 28 years. I decided to become a Councillor because I am passionate about Monk Bretton and its community. As well as being a councillor, I have been a self-employed plasterer for the last 42 years. In my free time, I enjoy walking, fundraising and going to see the Reds on the weekends.
